Rusutsu Resort Campsite

A maximum of 1,000 people can stay at this spacious lawn campsite. Features include barbecue house, rental tents, onsite electricity for your convenience as well as being located close to the resort’s shops and convenience store.

*Check-in time is from 12:00 to 20:00. Check-out time is before 10:00.

Tent Sites
Large grass tent sites are available as well as full rental services including tent, mat, bed, and blankets (open-fire cooking is not permitted).
Flushing toilets
Equipped with clean, flush toilets on a site that has lighting through the night.
Parking Lot There is plenty of parking near the campground with space for up to 70 cars, this makes it even easier to bring all your camp equipment to your site.
Barbecue Corner
A memorable part of any camping trip is the barbeque. We have an undercover barbecue house where it is easy to get started and you can comfortably enjoy your meal hot from the large BBQ’s provided, perfect for cooking up delecious food.
Night Lighting
Key areas and pathways have lighting during the night, making walking around and using the facilities more social and safe.
Camp Fire
Time: 8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (cancelled in case of bad weather)
Bathing
Relax in the Rusutsu Resort Hot Springs for 525 yen per person. Please pay at the Management Office (Bathing Tax of 100 yen is required). Towel rental is available (face towel: 210 yen, bath towel: 315 yen). Please finish bathing before 10:00 p.m.

Shop in the campsite

A large range of camping necessities including food and drink are available in the shop.

*Orders for the menu above are taken until 5:00 p.m. the same day. Please order at the campsite Management Office (0136-46-3331 extension: 7566). In addition to the menu items snacks, drinks, vacuum-packed foods, instant foods, ice cream, ice, and more are also available.

How to Use the Campsite

*Please make a reservation by phone if you are to use any rental equipment.
*Please register at the “Campground Information Desk” located at the main entrance of the hotel. Fill in your name, address, contact information, number of persons and the license number of the car on the application form.
*You can drive into the campground parking lot. If you do so, please show your registration card to the staff at the gate. You cannot drive out and re-enter the parking area during your stay, so please ensure that you no longer need your vehicle after parking it. We suggest you take care of your shopping, etc before you check in.
*Upon checking in, please confirm with the staff where your parking lot and tent site is.

Campsite Etiquette

*Garbage must be either taken home or disposed of at the designated area.
*When you leave your tent, be extra careful about leaving food unattended as animals such as birds and foxes are present.
*Main lighting is turned off from 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Please respect others by not being excessively loud during this time.
*Do not set up tents anywhere within 10 meters of the camp fire.
*No pets are allowed.
*Always drive slowly in the premises.
*The fireworks display can be enjoyed from the designated viewing area.
*Do not park anywhere except in the parking lot.
