Nature Tour

The National Park surrounding Mt. Yotei is a treasure of Hokkaido and full of special places to visit let an experienced local guide show you the way. We can help you plan your course to see the highlights according to the season.
A. Forest Trekking
Trek around the forests near Mt. Yotei. The tour can be customised to suit your preferences.
B. Geopark
In 2009, Toya Caldera and Usu Volcano geopark were recognised as special and unique natural areas, these were the first areas in Japan to be registered as part of the Global Geoparks Network.
Lake Toya and Usu Volcano are considered to be particular areas of interest having, in history, experienced lots of seismic movements due to volcanic activity that has created an interesting and dynamic landscape.
A guided tour is the best way to explore these areas and discover all of their amazing features.

Horseback Riding

Form a partnership with your horse and ride along natural trails as you take in the beautiful surroundings from horseback.
Beginners can join all courses.

Mountain Bike Tour

Rusutsu and the surrounding area is a cyclist’s paradise! Winding trails snake through the countryside and take you to beautiful locations with spectacular views. Long and open roads reach far into the distance and beckon you to discover what lies at the end. Whether you enjoy riding off-road or on, Rusutsu has cycling that will appeal to everyone!
A. Mt. Yotei Touring Course
A 20-kilometer route from the resort to Fukidashi Park, home of one of the most famous natural springs in Hokkaido.
B. Dynamic Course
The fun challenge of a mix of downhill and uphill from Rusutsu Resort area to Lake Toya give this 25-kilometer route a harder edge.
C. Downhill Course
This 23-kilometer route boasts the stunning view from the top of Mt. Isola (including views of Lake Toya), as well as the dynamic downhill from the peak back to the hotel.

Mountain Biking

Take a short guided ride on a mountain bike along the picturesque trails around Rusutsu.

Sunset Trekking

Trek to the summit of Rusutsu to see the sun set behind the peaks of distant mountain ranges. It is a truly spectacular view.

Early Morning Ride

Start the day with a ride around Rusutsu’s premier golf courses. Fresh air and exercise is the perfect way to wake up and begin the day. Breakfast afterwards is sure to taste even better!

Mountain Bike Rental

Hire one of Rusutsu’s premium mountain bikes and get out and explore the area on a bike. It is a great way to get around and have a lot of fun on the trails.

Orienteering

Take up the fun challenge of orienteering and use a map and compass to find your way around Rusutsu! Navigate towards checkpoints and plot your route to your destination. You can race against time to be the quickest or do it at your leisure and appreciate the scenery.
A. Fitness Course
Walk around the ski slopes with our instructor, and learn the basic skills to read maps and directions.
B. Trial Course
If you feel like a challenge try this longer course with a little aid from the accompanying instructor.
C. Short Experience Course
After an initial briefing, go out in the field and try it for yourself to experience the fun.
*Orienteering is an activity where you use the map and compass to follow the route with checkpoints as fast as possible.

*Activity is available upon reservation only. Please make your booking at the Activity Desk by 17:00 the day before.
*Bookings are subject to condition of collaborating companies, instructor or guide.
*All prices include sales tax.
*Some programs are held in conjunction with outdoor specialist subcontractors in Niseko or other areas.
*Activity programs will be changed or cancelled if the instructor or guide deems the conditions to be dangerous.
*Some programs are covered by the subcontractors’ insurance (fee included in our price). These insurance policies have a narrow scope of coverage, and any damages or injuries caused by the participant’s negligence are not insured. It is therefore highly recommended that you purchase your own insurance coverage, please consider which type of insurance best covers you for the activities you will partake in.
*All participants must sign an assumption of risk and waiver of liability form prior to participating in a tour. Persons under the age of 18 years will also require a parent or guardian to sign.
*Primary and secondary school students are recommended to join our programs accompanied by their guardians.
*Generally, non-participants or visitors to activity programs are not accepted.
*Please be aware that some activities are conducted in natural surroundings, it is always important to follow the guide’s instructions and be responsible for your own safety.

*Guests are not allowed to attend any activity programs if they have consumed any alcohol. So please refrain from drinking alcohol prior to participation in the program.
*Cancellation fees will be charged at 50% a day before and 100% for same day cancellations.
