FAQ about hotel and accommodation
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts from 3:00 p.m. and check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
If your accommodation includes admission to the amusement park or a lift ticket for the ski area, you are able to receive the ticket before check-in.
Are there any baby beds for rental?
Yes, the hotel provides a limited number of baby beds for rental at a cost of 3,150yen per day.
Will Front Desk keep my luggage?
For guests staying at the Tower hotel, you are welcome to keep your luggage at the Front Desk. For guests staying in North or South wings, Log houses or Cottages of the resort, you are able to keep your luggage in one of the secure lockers provided free of charge.
Are guest rooms connected to the internet?
LAN internet connections are available in a number of rooms in the Tower and North Wing (1200yen for all-day or 300yen per hour). However, these rooms are only available at request and cannot be reserved. Wireless internet access is also available in public spaces such as the lobbies of the North and South wings and Tower hotels.
Can I send my luggage to the Hotel?

FAQ about restaurant
Where can I receive my meal coupon?
If your accommodation includes breakfast or dinner, you will receive your meal coupon upon check-in.
If I don’t have a meal coupon, can I use the restaurant?
Yes, of course. You can have the bill charged to your room or you can settle at each restaurant.
Can I make a reservation at the restaurant?
No, our restaurants do not take any bookings, however they can accommodate a large amount of guests. Please check with the restaurant for busy times.
I’m worried about my allergies?
At buffet restaurants, a reference for common allergies is listed in our menu. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to request a special menu.
FAQ about Rusutsu
What kind of clothing should I bring with me?
Rusutsu is a highland resort during the warmer months with a cool and dry climate, we suggest you bring a jacket or thin coat to help keep you warm during your stay.
During winter Rusutsu is covered in snow and the weather can be quite cold.

Do you accept credit cards?
We accept JCB, UnionPay, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Diners cards.
Are there any on-site Laundromats?
Yes, we have coin laundries located in the North Wing, South Wing and Rusutsu Tower. Each load of laundry costs 300yen, and driers are also available.
Do you have swimwear rental?
Sorry, for hygiene reasons we do not provide this service.
FAQ about pets
Can I keep my pet in the hotel?
Pets are not allowed in guest rooms. However, we allow dogs onto the resort and provide a designated area for them where your dog can stay in one of our secure pet cages where we will keep it overnight for you. The cost of this service is 3,150yen per night, please note that no food or toilet service is provided.
Can I bring my pet along with me?
Your pet can stay with you at our Dog Cottage.

Can I walk my dog around the amusement park?
For safety reasons you can not walk your dog within the amusement park area.
FAQ about ski area
Where can I collect the lift ticket included in my accommodation?
You can receive your lift ticket from Front Desk before check-in.
Can I ski with my lift ticket before check-in?
Yes, obtain your lift ticket at the Front Desk before check-in and you are able to use the lifts.
Will Front Desk keep my luggage?
For guest staying at Tower hotel, you are welcome to keep your luggage at the Front Desk. For guests staying in North or South wings, Log houses or Cottages of the resort, you are able to keep your luggage in one of the secure lockers provided free of charge.
Is there a discount for hotel guest that buy a lift ticket?
There is no discount on lift tickets, the duration pass is a great value offer making your stay even more affordable.
What is the difference between a 1 day lift ticket and a duration pass?
Duration Pass: You can ski on the mountain during the hours of operation, including night skiing, from arrival until 17:00 on the day of departure.
1 Day Pass: Choose the day during your stay that best suits you. Night skiing is also included for every night you stay, except your day of departure.
Safety Policy
Rusutsu Resort has gained approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to operate lift and gondola.
As stipulated by Article 2.3 of Safety Control Rules under Railway Business Act (revised in 2006), Rusutsu is subject to report all safety approaches of lift and gondola facilities. Although only West Gondola is in operation during green season, we will make every effort to maintain all lifts and gondolas in a proper and safe working condition.
